  Soon as they took over from Brown Dog the place hasn't been the same.
  But reviewing it on its own merit, food is overpriced, not that great tasting, and coffee is so-so.
  Fantastic views of the river though on the back deck.
  Still a good place to go for coffee and a view but it has lost its former charm.

  This used to be a Brown Dog and the destination of our group cycling rides. It is now but a shadow of its former glory.
  The fritters and coffee are still good, but the food is subpar, made ahead of time and warmed to order. Presentation of the food isn't great, the decorations and style is watered down and the character has been lost.

  Nice little coffee shop overlooking the Grand River. Didn't get any food this time, but the drinks menu is great and includes daily features. Good atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating options.

  Terrible experience.
  
  Very limited menu. I ordered the chicken Cesar wrap, it had no taste, the chicken was grey, and tough, seemed like it was pre-prepared. It also came with like a teaspoon of pasta salad in a tiny plastic cup. There is no point giving it to me if I can down it like a shot.
  
  The staff were rude and frantic. The workers were easily heard arguing, I think even the people outside heard " Who is the senior staff here!!". My food was ready before my drink because I had to remind them twice that I was waiting for it. Only after the second time did I see her go and start it.
  
  I ordered a Strawberry smoothie, there are no size options. A slushie would be a more appropriate term I was left with a lot of ice at the end. It tasted nice and fresh so I cant complain. Except I don't think it would be that much trouble to fill the cup.
  
  I much prefered the Brown dog.
  
  Despite the food and drink problems I think their biggest issue is service, they don't seem to know what they are doing.

  Food was not bad, smoothie was ok. The reason for only 1 star is because of the service. The girl behind the counter threw the drinks at us. Very rude!
